Bike lifter arrested, stolen bike recovered

JAMMU, June 8: On 05-06-2024 one complaint was lodged at PP sarwal by the complainant namely deepanshu Kapoor S/o Ajit Kapoor R/o plot no. 271 Rehari colony Jammu near punjabi brother regarding theft of his bike Yamaha R15 bearing Registration No. JK02DB-9323.
In this regard, case FIR No. 77/2024 U/S 379 IPC got registered at PS Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
After this special police teams of PS bakshi Nagar constituted under the supervision of S.P city north and led by SDPO city west jammu and assisted by SHO PS Bakshi Nagar I/C PP Sarwal did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area finally Rounded up the suspected person namely Sameer Hussain S/o Mubasbir Hussain R/o liyon bunjwah kishtwar .On his disclosure stolen bike Yamaha R15 bearing Registration No. JK02DB-9323 got recovered from his possession and the said accused person is a habitual criminal and shrewd as a number of cases (theft) has been registered against him. The detail of which are as under.
FIR No. 129/2022 U/S 379 IPC P/s City, FIR NO. 19/2020 U/S 457/382 IPC p/s Nowabad, FIR No. 43/23 U/S 379 IPC P/s bahu-fort and FIR No. 64/2023 U/S 224 IPC p/s bahu-fort
Further investigation of the case is going on.
