Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 8: The annual Mahayajnya of Jagadguru Bhagawaan Gopinathji was observed with profound devotion, fervor, and gaiety across the nation and abroad on Saturday, June 8, 2024, coinciding with the lunar calendar date "Zyesht Zoon Pach Doi." This significant event, aimed at fostering universal peace and brotherhood, witnessed widespread participation from devotees.
In Jammu, the Mahayajnya was conducted at the Bhagawaan Gopinathji Ashram in Udaiwala, Bohri. The ceremonial activities commenced at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024, culminating with Puran-Aahuti at noon on Saturday, June 8, 2024, followed by the distribution of Prasad. Thousands of devotees gathered at the Ashram from early morning, seeking blessings at the revered feet of the Master. The Bhagawaan Gopinathji Trust meticulously organized the event, ensuring a smooth and successful conduct of the Mahayajnya. Hundreds of devotees, both young and old, volunteered selflessly at various service counters, including Prasad distribution, shoe counter, fruit refreshment, and lemon water stalls.
To facilitate the orderly movement of the devotees within the Ashram premises, elaborate arrangements were made, ensuring hassle-free navigation. Bhajan and Kirtan sessions continued throughout the day, creating an atmosphere of bliss and spiritual ecstasy. The day's proceedings culminated with the Samohik evening Aarti, marking the event's conclusion. Despite the extreme heat, the unwavering devotion of the participants was evident, as they engaged in the activities with sincere reverence for the Master. The event proceeded peacefully, attributed to the disciplined behavior of the devotees and the vigilant presence of police personnel.
In addition to Jammu, the Mahayajnya was performed at various other Ashrams and Satsang Mandals across the country and abroad. These locations included Kharyar-Srinagar in Kashmir, Greater Kailash-I, Pamposh Enclave in New Delhi, Hastsal Village in Vikaspuri, West Delhi, Nande Mahalunge Road in Pune, Whitefield in Bengaluru, and Kukatpally in Hyderabad. The event also took place in Amritsar, Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Jaipur, Chembur & Kandivili in Mumbai, Vaishali in Ghaziabad, and various other Satsang Mandals throughout the nation. Internationally, the Mahayajnya was observed in locations such as Charkop Village in Kandivali (West) Mumbai, Bengal Association in Navi Mumbai, and several other centers.
The Trust extended its heartfelt gratitude to the Police, Power Development Department (PDD), Municipality, Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED), Traffic Police, and other authorities for their commendable services, which ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the Mahayajnya 2024. The coordinated efforts of these agencies were instrumental in managing the event efficiently.
