Nation first BJP's sacred mission: Rana
6/8/2024 10:07:08 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 8: Senior BJP leader Mr Devender Singh Rana today emphasized the prioritization of 'Nation First' above all, saying it encapsulates national security, economic development, inclusive growth, cultural nationalism, social justice, good governance and self reliance leading to Atmanirbhar Bharat.
"For the BJP nation comes first and for the Congress and its INDI Alliance partners family remains above nation", Rana said while dedicating Memorial of Martyr Ct Joginder Kumar at Lower Ranjan in Block Mathwar.
Ct Joginder Kumar, son of Shri Ram Saran of 2nd Bn CRPF attained martyrdom on June 11, 2011 at Baghi Dant Bharda Chhattisgarh.
He said the "Nation First" mission under Prime Minister Yashasvi Narendra Modi underlines the BJP's commitment to making decisions that are in the best interest of India's long-term stability, security, and prosperity. While a major headway has been made during the first two tenures of the Prime Minister, the third NDA tenure will witness accomplishment of national urges and aspirations, he added.
Devender Rana said the Congress anthem of family above nation virus has infected INDI Alliance partners in a big way, which is why they are desperately struggling to promote and preserve this culture in the Indian polity. He held the Congress responsible for all ills across the country, saying the politics of deceit, deception and opportunism has cast bruises on the national psyche. Their continued attempts to undermine national pride are hurting the patriotic people of the country.
Referring to the heroism of Ct Joginder Kumar, Rana paid a heartfelt tribute to the brave martyr who sacrificed his life for the nation. He said the valour and dedication of the brave hearts, who have laid down their lives in the line of duty, makes every Indian proud. Remembering and honouring the sacrifices made by the martyrs to protect the sovereignty and integrity of our country is best tribute to the national heroes, he added.
"The countrymen owe a debt of gratitude to these brave souls who have given their lives to ensure that we live in peace and security. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten, and it is our duty to uphold the values and principles they fought for", Rana said, adding that most of the sacrifices have been offered in Jammu and Kashmir, especially during most testing times of terrorism unleashed by the rogue nation.
Rana said the nation stands united in its resolve to protect the nation and to honour those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The BJP remains dedicated to strengthening national security and supporting those in uniform in every possible way, he added.
Earlier, Rana and others paid floral tributes to the brave heart and said his sacrifice will continue to inspire the generations to serve the nation in whatever way they can with best of their capabilities.
