Div Comm instructs officers to make upcoming Kheer Bhawani yatra happy experience for every yatri

SRINAGAR, June 8: Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, IAS, Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir accompanied by Mata Kheerbhawani Ji Yatra Welfare Society (MKBJYWS) delegation led by Kiran Wattal visited the shrine of Kheer Bhawani at Tullamulla, and took stock of the arrangements being made for upcoming the yatra on the occasion of Jesiht Ashtami on June 14.
Among those who attended the meeting include Relief and Rehabilitation commissioner, Deputy Commission Ganderbal, SSP Ganderbal, SSP Traffic, SSP Rural, officers from Fire Service, PHE, R&B departments and Municipal corporation of Gabderbal B L Bhat of Vivekananda kendera nagdandi .
The MKBJYWS members were informed that the administration has made arrangements for stay for yatris also in Central University complex where adequate facilities and arrangements has been made for yatries for the yatra.
Convenor of MKBJYWS, Kiran Watal request div comm to ensure waterproof tents and proper wooden carpeting so that unexpected rains don't disrupt the yatra and cause inconvenience to pilgrims. He also requested Div com to make adequate transport facilities for PM package Employees and local Kashmiri pandits .
Div Comm instructed all officers to make foolproof arrangements for the yatra while requesting all NGOs providing various services during the yatra to make every single yatri comfortable.
After the meeting the Div Comm unveiled MKBJYWS pooja box and also released the calender of the Mata Kheer Bhawani. These calenders will be distributed on the auspicious occasion of the Ashtami to yatris. MKBJYWS will be organizing a tea and langar seva on arrival of yatries on 12h June at Central University. Complex for yatris.
