| GJCMS to celebrate 119th birth anniversary of Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan | | |

Jammu, Mar 13- Greater Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (GJCMS) is organizing an impressive function here on Sunday to celebrate the 119th birth anniversary of Justice Mehar Mahajan.
Giving background of celebration of the Day, Jugal Mahajan Chief Patrol of Mahajan Sabha while addressing the media persons here today said that the main objective is to keep the young generation abreast about the importance and relevance of the ideologies of Mehar Chand Mahajan so that they could inculcate the spirit of making substantial contribution in laying strong foundation for the society.
Mahajan has called upon the young generation to make strenuous efforts in popularizing the ideologies and principles of late Mehar Chand Mahajan.
Mahajan said that former Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha Member Dr. Farooq Abdullah would be the chief guest on the occasion. S S Salathia, minister for Industries and Commerce, Raman Bhalla MLA, Kavinder Gupta Mayor JMC, Vinay Matter chairman, Mahajan Chetna Samiti and Ramesh Gupta, besides other dignitaries are expected to participate in the function, he added.
Kundal Lal President Greater Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha, who also addressed the press, highlighted the dire need of bringing about substantial changes in the society to render it an effective social reformation in view of changes taking place. He said the younger generation needs proper guidance adding that the ideologies and principles of Justice Mahajan could help them to a great extent. He called on the Mahajan Biradari to come toward and help ameliorate the hardships of the distressed people.
S P Langer stressed the need of following the path of Justice Mahajan.
