Mega disability camp organized at Sub District Hospital Nowshera

JAMMU, June 12: In a significant initiative aimed at assisting specially disabled individuals in obtaining disability certificates, a disability camp was organized at the premises of Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Nowshera. This camp was held under the supervision of Dr Rakesh Mangotra Director Health Services Jammu, Chief Medical Officer Rajouri, Dr. M.L. Rana and Block Medical Officer Nowshera, Dr. Iqbal Malik.The main objective of this camp was to facilitate the process for disabled individuals to acquire their disability certificates with ease. To achieve this, a dedicated team of district medical board officers was deputed to SDH Nowshera, ensuring the welfare of the local community.The disability camp was inaugurated by the esteemed social activist Vinod Sharma, Vice President of the Jammu and Kashmir Handicapped Welfare Association (JKHWA) Rajouri Sharma's presence and support highlighted the importance of such initiatives for the betterment of specially disabled individuals.
Chief Medical Officer Rajouri, Dr. M.L. Rana, announced that a total of 72 disability certificates were issued on the spot during the camp. This swift action was highly appreciated by the attendees, who hailed the efforts of the health department for organizing such a beneficial event.The successful organization of this disability camp is a testament to the commitment of the district's medical authorities to improving the lives of specially disabled individuals in the region. It also reflects the collaborative spirit between the medical community and social activists in addressing the needs of the disabled population.
