| CCI extends full support to Babar’s Kashir Lounge | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 14- Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry today extended its association to the first of its kind unique concept of Kashir Lounge-come and discover Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. Kashir Lounge, the mini cultural embassy of Jammu and Kashmir, represents the true experience and strength of the state for promotion of trade and business from state through its initiatives, conferences, seminars by its partners, franchisees and JV Partners. Congratulating Babar Afzal for creating this concept for taking the culture and experience of Kashmir and Himalayas to the world through government and civil partnership President CCI Ram Sahai assured that the Chamber would extend its full support to the project by coming up with a series of seminars and initiatives that would be run across all the Lounges and would be a great platform for brining the trade business and the government departments of various states in India in close connection. ‘The project will not only become strong very fast but would also create a global wave that would attract many investors to the project, besides creating enormous job opportunities for the talented youth of the state’, he added. The Kashir Lounge would run festivals on the food and culture of Kashmir, Jammu and Ladakh and would also initiate dialogue with the corresponding departments of the franchisee’s state and build a close circuit for investment and business opportunities to be worked on jointly, Ram Sahai said. Babar Afzal, Chairman and CEO of Kashir Lounge, explained that the project was a dream he has been living with for the past few years and has spent enormous amount of time and money in research, prior to putting the project on ground. The vision for this project, he said, is to connect the governments of 100 countries with Jammu and Kashmir at different levels on one end and to promote everything about Jammu and Kashmir nationally and internationally through his Franchise Business Model that would be the most stable business opportunity to get in even at the time of global recession. Babar said that Kashir Lounge has also started its ‘community services’ initiatives where a percentage of revenue generated through the business is spent back as a social responsibilities like plantation of trees and educating children to name a few. Going forward there would be large scale campaign that would run across the network of Kashir Lounge and would become a mandatory part of the business model adhere to in India and internationally by the partners, he added. Babar, a young entrepreneur from Jammu and Kashmir, has created the concept for taking the culture and experience of Kashmir and Himalayas to the world through government and civil partnership and associations
