Jammu, June 14: Refuting the reports being circulated by some social media handles on night outing, Jammu Police on Friday said that it is absolutely safe and secure.
A police spokesman in a message said that fake information is being circulated by some social media handles regarding avoiding night outing in Jammu.
"Police has taken strong note of such rumours and have asked people that this information is absolutely baseless and not to take serious such rumours, fake information," said the spokesman.
He further stated that police, security forces have maintained proper area domination and surveillance.
"J&K Police is fully aware and competent to handle any challenge and people need not to fear anything and we are committed for the safety and security of all citizens," the spokesman said.
The police said that legal action will be taken against those spreading rumours, which intend to create unnecessary panic among the general masses. |
