DC Udhampur visits JK Digital Network, Jammu Kashmir First office, appreciates work culture

UDHAMPUR, June 14: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, IAS, along with District Information Officer Rajinder Digra on Friday visited JK Digital Network and Jammu Kashmir First office.
They were welcomed by Sumeet Sharma, Managing Director of JK Digital Network Udhampur, and Advocate Rahul Jandial.
Each of these individuals plays a crucial role in the administrative, informational, digital, and legal spheres of Udhampur, contributing to its development and governance. After visiting the office and inspecting the work culture, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai appreciated the team of the JK Digital Network and emphasized that community engagement has strengthened the bond between the administration and the local populace.
She stressed for ensuring that accurate and timely information reaches the citizens for promoting transparency and accountability. She said the media’s role is crucial in maintaining an informed citizenry, which is essential for the democratic process. By effectively communicating the government’s efforts and achievements, she said, the media helps to build public trust and facilitates better governance.
