IGNOU June TEE 2024 exam scheduled for June 18 postponed due to clash with UGC NET, to be conducted on June 23

JAMMU, June 15: The June 2024 Term-End Examinations of IGNOU are being conducted across the Country. The examinations started from June 7, 2024 and will conclude on July15, 2024. Due to a clash with the UGC NET June 2024 on June 18, 2024, the University has decided to postpone the examinations for all courses scheduled for June 18, 2024.The examination for all courses scheduled for June 18, 2024 will now be conducted on Sunday, June 23, 2024. There will be no examination of IGNOU on June 18, 2024. The decision to reschedule the IGNOU JEE exam has been taken after receiving various representations from the students of postgraduate programmes.
The official notice reads, "Consequent upon the representations for June 2024 TEE received from the students of PG Programmes regarding UGC-NET Examination being held on 18.06.2024 (which was earlier scheduled on 16.06.2024), the IGNOU has decided to reschedule the entire set of Examination to be held on 18.06.2024 (Tuesday) to 23.06.2024 i.e. SUNDAY to safeguard the interest of the Students". All the other remaining exams will be conducted as per the date sheet for Term End Exam June 2024, the notice further reads.
IGNOU June TEE 2024 examination admit cards are available on the official web portal. All the students have been advised to download IGNOU hall tickets with the revised schedule. Candidates can download IGNOU June TEE 2024 exam admit cards by visiting the official website, www.ignou.ac.in.
Regional Director IGNOU Regional Centre Jammu, Dr. Jai Prakash Verma in his press statement stated that IGNOU has a thumb rule to safeguard the interest of its students and the University is known for taking difficult decisions in the interest of students. Dr. Verma also informed that all the preparations are in place to conduct the examination in all 31 Examination Centres under the Regional Centre Jammu on the rescheduled date i.e., Sunday, June 23, 2024 with the kind cooperation of our Centre Superintendents and Officials and staff of the Regional Centre.
