| Citizens Jammu Club striving to keep Hospitals free from pollution | | | Early Times Report Jammu Mar 14- Citizens Club Jammu Tawi has once again joined hands with the management of SMGS Hospital in keeping the Hospital polythene, smoke and noise pollution free. Mahesh Gupta, Chairman Citizens Club Jammu Tawi along with his team handed over 40 sophisticated illustrative display boards to Dr. Rajinder Singh Principal GMC Jammu, Dr. Rakesh Khajuria administrator for GMC Jammu and Dr. Satish Sharma Deputy Medical Superintendent SMGS hospital. These boards are beautifully illustrated with instructions about ‘not to use Mobiles, polythene bags in hospital premises’ and also advising the visitors not to smoke in the hospital. These boards shall be placed at all the prominent places of this hospital, thus reminding the visitors to follow these instructions. Mahesh Gupta informed that the priority of their club is to reach all those areas of social services with Government agencies where others NGO’s are either ignoring or avoiding partnering with. Dr. Rajinder Singh Principal GMC while speaking on the occasion, thanked team of citizens club for extending their co-operation whenever the Hospital Administration needs despite of their limited resources. He further apprised that citizens club has already sponsored many of cleanliness drives undertaken by the GMC and have also installed cement benches, dustbins, coolers etc. in the hospital. He at the same time appealed to other NGO’s to come forward and co-operate the Hospital Management to serve the ailing humanity better as the Government hospital have less sources than required. The Citizens Club team, present on the occasion was Dharamvir Chopra, Senior Vice Chairman, Vishwamitter Junior Vice Chairman, Ravi Gupta, Secretary, Sunil Gupta treasure, Deepak Aggarwal, Ranjan Gupta, Jasbir Singh Directors of the club.
