| PK mourns tragic death of medico | | Appeals community members across country to lodge strong protest | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 14- Panun Kashmir (PK)held an emergency meeting today to mourn the tragic death of medico Aman Kachroo, who was murdered in tortuous ragging at Tanda Himachal Pradesh. Panun Kashmir executive chaired by its convenor, Dr .Agnishekhar expressed solidarity with the family of Aman Kachroo .A two minutes silence was observed in the memory of the departed soul. Members expressed their anguish at the tragic loss of a brilliant life and have appealed all its units in India and abroad to lodge strong protests and to stand solidly behind the bereaved family in their hour of grief. National Spokesman, Virender Raina said that we are in touch with our unit in Kangra and are observing the actions taken by the Himachal government in this regard. Panun Kashmir intends to take this fight to its logical conclusion.
Dr. Agnishekhar said that Panun Kashmir will be sending a delegation to Tanda, Dharamshala and Kangra in connection with the preparations for the forthcoming 3rd World Kashmiri Pandit conference and also would seek an audience with the chief minister to express the deep concern of the Kashmiri Pandit community at the tragic loss of life of Aman Kachroo and to seek expeditious trial of the guilty. There is a need to create awareness in our educational institutions so that such mishaps do not take place in future.
Among others the meeting was also attended by senior leader Daya Krishan Koul, General Secretary Sanjay Dattattrya and Ravinder Punjabi.
