BLSKS celebrates 11th anniversary of Art of Giving

JAMMU, June 17: As part of celebrations of 11th birth anniversary of AOG ( Art of Giving), EID-ul-Zuha, & to promote the Traditional Cultural of India, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan & Volleyball association of J&K organized captivating cultural program on peace and harmony its 435th Regular Series Musical Play "EKTA KA DIYA" at Rehearsal Hall , Durga Bhawan, Janipur Jammu today. During the year BLSKS also will presents programs on the said theme in 10 District of Jammu Provinces ie., Jammu , Kathua , Kishtwar, Poonch Rajouri, Reasi Etc., the Organization will also presents full length musical plays Like Maa Sheran Wali, Raja Mandlik, and other Awareness Songs to save the Environment of Universe. The Program was inaugurated by Chief Guest V.K.Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting ,Government of India. Dr. Anju Dogra from Health Department, J&K Government, Mukesh Singh, Media Person Jammu, J.K.Raina, Freelancer Producer Director were Guest of Honor. The superior official of volleyball association J&K, Vajak Raj, Patron in chief, President Sidharth Daluja, CEO, Kuldeep Magotra, Vice President , H.S.Gill, Mohd.Tariq Joint Secty, R.C. Sharma & others were Special Guest apricated the organization for Best performance on the theme.
The concepts art of giving aimed at promoting peace, happiness, harmony and friendship, all across the globe as conceived by its founder Achyuta Samanta who is also founder of KIIT and KISS,KIMS university, Bhubaneshwar was highlighted by artists of BLSks in colorful manner. Besides this importance of all festival , with special reference to Eid-Ul-Zuha celebration which is also known as symbol of sacrifice besides cementing bonds of peace & harmony were also articulated by the artist through colorful presentation of the prog.
Dr.M.L.Dogra , Chairman Blsks, read the message of Prof. Achyuta Samanta, founder of AOG, whose 11th anniversary is being celebrated all across the country. Prof Samanta's multi-faceted personality in the field of education , Social Services Community welfare and sports were cherished on the occasion. Not only this Prof. Samanta contribution as President of Volleyball Federation of India was also highlighted. Dr.Dogra also said "Peace and love are often said in the same breath. Peace, you could say, is the natural afterglow of showing love toward others. It turns out that peace might not be the "absence of conflict" at all. Instead, it comes from the show of love (or compassion) toward others, including when challenges develop. The balance, order, rhythm and harmony. Observe good faith and justice toward all nations. Cultivate peace and harmony with all. He who lives in harmony with himself lives in harmony with the universe.
Speaking on the occasion Vijay Kumar Magotra, Gen. Sec. Volleyball Association of J&K revealed that Prof. Samanta's contribution in development of sports and tribals would go a long way in transforming modern India. The J&K chapter of AOG has drawn up a series of special programmes to commemorate role 11th anniversary of AGO all across JK UT by way of holding cultural, yoga, sports, lectures etc. in the coming days in coordination with various sports and cultural organization in J&K. Magotra appreciated the role of artists in promoting various concepts of cultural heritage of India , National Unity. The singers ,musician and actors who performed were Usha Raina, K K Joshi, M.C.Kotwal, Jogi Rajeev Nath, Chahat Chadha Bindia Okheda, Raju Bajgal, Kamla Devi, Sudesh Devi Manhas, Naiya Digra, Renu Bala, presented the enthralled performance. Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
