| Dr Darakhshan offers Eid prayers at Hazratbal amid huge public appreciation for the upgradation of facilities at Shrines | | |  Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, June 17: Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, the Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board today offered Eid prayers at Dargah Hazratbal today. On her arrival at the shrine, enthusiastic public from far and near surrounded her and praised her for the upgradation of facilities and infrastructural boost at all Spiritual Ziyarats during the past two years. Emotional appreciations of the work of Waqf Board was seen at Dargah from all sections of people. In her reaction to this love from people Dr Darakhshan said that Waqf Board is committed to continue its mission of strengthening Waqf Board & transforming our sufi shrines into model spiritual places. "Our spiritual shrines are our power centers and we are in a mission mode to develop these shrines as the places with adequate facilities and needs. Here at our spiritual centers, teaching of peace, co-existence and harmony is circulated among the masses", said Dr Darakhshan. She thanked the LG administration for supporting the Board's initiatives for public good. |
