JAMMU, June 18: In adherence to directives from senior officers, two PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meetings were conducted today, focusing on present security threat perceptions and the upcoming Amarnath Yatra events. These meetings were chaired by the SHO of P/S Pacca Danga.
The first meeting took place at Jain Bazar, followed by another at Pacca Danga market. Both gatherings saw active participation from prominent citizens, members of market associations, shopkeepers, and other stakeholders. Attendees were thoroughly briefed on the importance of remaining vigilant and were urged to promptly report any suspicious activities to the police.
In addition, the attendees were encouraged to install CCTV cameras as part of Operation Third Eye, a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing surveillance and security.
Both meetings concluded peacefully, with participants expressing their commitment to maintaining safety and security in their respective areas. |
