Early Times Report

JAMMU, June 18: Like every year, this year also, all the Jewellery establishments of Jammu Province will observe summer vacations from 19th June 2024 (Wednesday) to 23rd June 2024 (Sunday). This was decided during a joint meeting of the Sarafa Association Jammu Province, Swarnkar Sangh Jammu Province and Ad-Hoc Committee Swarnkar Sangh Jammu City, held to finalize the dates of Annual Summer Vacations of Jammu Jewellers and Swarnkars.
The joint meeting, headed by Raman Suri President Sarafa Association Jammu Province, Raj Kumar Babbar President Swarnkar Sangh Jammu Province and Kulbhushan Anand President Ad-Hoc Committee Swarnkar Sangh Jammu City, was attended by the office bearers and executive members of the associations. Prominent among the attendees were Vijay Kumar Verma, Ram Kapoor, Amit Luthra, Rakesh Mahajan, Ajay Talla, Vijay Saraf, Sanjay Jain, Sumit Handa, Surinder Jain, Deepak Jain. It was discussed in the meeting that as heatwave is taking a toll on everyone’s health and school, colleges are also closed, so it is the best time for the employers as well as employees to take a break from their busy schedules and spend some quality time with their families and friends.
During the meeting, Raman Suri emphasized the importance of vacations for everyone, as they rejuvenate the mind, body, and soul, bringing out the best in an individual. He compared this need for rest to that of a machine, which cannot operate continuously for 365 days without downtime.
Similarly, he noted that businessmen need breaks from their year-long hard work to stay efficient. He encouraged the esteemed members of the business associations to make the most of their time during these breaks and return refreshed and enthusiastic.
Sarafa Association Jammu Province, Swarnkar Sangh Jammu Province and Ad-Hoc Committee Swarnkar Sangh Jammu City hereby inform their respected customers and people of Jammu to plan their shopping accordingly to avoid any inconvenience. All the shops and establishments of Jammu Province will remain closed and no business will be carried out on the said dates. The Association deeply regrets the inconvenience, if any, that may be caused to the esteemed customers.
