Police held PCPG meetings in Sub-Divisions Ramban

Ramban, June 18 : In order to strengthen Police Public relations Jammu and Kashmir Police in District Ramban under the directions of SSP Ramban,various PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) were held in the Police Sub-Divisions Ramban, Gool and Banihal.
The meetings were chaired by Supervisory officers,SHOs and officer Incharge(s) and attended by chowkidar, Namberdars,PRI members and members of civil society.
In Police Sub-Division Ramban the PCPG Meetings were held at Seri and Rajgarh, Jurisdictions of PS Ramban, at Chanderkot market Jurisdictions PS Chanderkote and Nashri and Patnitop under the Jurisdictions of PS Batote.
In Gool Sub-Division the PCPG were held at Police Station Gool,Police Post Sangaldan and PP Ind.
In Police Sub-Division Banihal the PCPG meetings held at PS Ramsoo, Police Posts Neel, Ukhral,Khari and PP JT.
The Participants raised issues of public importance and they were assured that their genuine grievances would be redressed at its earliest.
The participants were encouraged to fully cooperate with the Police in prevention and detection of crime.
Further,Officers urged participants to keep strict watch over the possibly suspicious activities in their areas and to share timely information in view of present prevailing security scenario.
The meetings were concluded with a vote of thanks and appreciation from Public.
