Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 19: Senior BJP leader and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Er. Gulam Ali Khatana on Wednesday said that PM Modi has again helmed the affairs of world's largest democracy and like earlier 10 years of his leadership, the country has again started getting benefits especially the welfare measures for the otherwise neglected sections of the society like farmers have got much relief now.
Khatana said that in such a welfare measure the PM has now released 17th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi worth Rs. 20,000 crore for more than 9.26 crore farmers across the country including Rs. 182.55 crore for 8.46 lakh farmers of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement issued to the selected group of news organisations, BJP leader Khatana said while the Prime Minister released the installment from his Parliamentary constituency of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, he again won hearts of 140 crore Indians by working out favourable measures for the farmers who are backbone in the progress of our country.
The Rajya Sabha member said that NDA government led by PM Modi is working hard for the third consecutive tenure for the welfare of farmers, the poor and other marginalised sections of the society as PM Modi believes that farmers, women, youth and the poor are strong pillars of 'Viksit Bharat'.
Khatana said that after PM Modi took leadership of this great nation he slept less and worked more to ensure welfare of the people of the country and has given Ayushman Cards to all which enables even a poor person to avail medical care for critical diseases upto Rs. 5 lakhs expenditure.
"Free ration to BPL people, Ujwala gas Yogana, vaccination during COVID-19 pandemic, Har Ghar Jal and many more remained the welfare measures under the leadership of PM Modi which have helped the poor population of the country a lot," Gulam Ali maintained.
He further said that people of India have given third tenure to PM Modi to lead the country to progress and the PM in turn is working hard for more welfare of the people of the country and again the country is in safe hands.
