UDHAMPUR, June 19: Continuing its endavour to stop the illegal mining and transportation of minerals, Udhampur Police today seized 04 vehicles involved in illegal transportation of construction material in the jurisdiction of Police Station Rehambal. Police team of Police Station Rehambal led by its SHO seized 04 vehicles (03 tippers and one JCB) from Kambal Danga area which were extracting/ carrying sand and gravels illegally from river beds.
All the vehicles bearing registration no. JK14F 3168, JK02AF 2987, JK14H 8319 and JK14G 8466 (JCB) were seized and later on handed over to Geology and Mining department for further legal action |
