Early Times Report

Jammu, June 19: Students of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) are caught in a quandary as both institutions have scheduled their exams on the same date i.e. June 23.
Students while talking to Early Times said, “Originally, IGNOU had scheduled its exams to start from June 18. However, due to a clash with the UGC exams on the same day, IGNOU postponed the affected exams to June 23. This rescheduling has led to overlap with the JKSSB exams, causing distress among students who are now forced to choose between the two crucial exams.”
Students said that it would be difficult for them to manage two significant exams on the same day. “We have prepared extensively for both exams. If the authorities don’t reschedule the exams our hard work would go in vain due to the clash,” they added.
"We have studied hard for these exams. It is very difficult to prepare for such important exams, and now we are forced to choose between them. This could ruin our careers," they said.
They appealed to IGNOU and JKSSB to reconsider their exam schedules. “We urge the authorities to postpone one of the exams to ensure that we get the opportunity to appear for both exams,” they added.
