DDC Bandipora finalizes District Capex Plan 2024-25

BANDIPORA, June 19: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman on Wednesday chaired a meeting at Mini Secretariat, here to finalize District CAPEX Plan 2024-25.
The DDC on the occasion took stock of various proposed works under different sectors including minor irrigation, R&B, Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Youth Services and Sports, Urban Development, PHE, Untied Grants, Aspirational Block Development schemes, Samridhi Seema Yojna and others.
Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Maqbool apprised the chair that Rs. 6169.67 lac is approved allocation in District Capex for 2024-25.
It was given out that various ongoing works have been uploaded on BEAMS portal of District amounting to Rs. 1150.85 lacs.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC emphasized prioritizing projects that will have a transformative impact on the district, ensuring alignment with overarching developmental goals.
He asked the officers to focus on fostering sustainable growth and addressing the evolving needs of the general public while formulating plans.
Shakeel ul Rehman directed the concerned District Heads of various departments to submit estimates of proposed works without delay and to ensure completion of all ongoing works under District CAPEX at an earliest.
He also emphasized the formulation of ADF Plan as per set guidelines and after thorough public consultations including conducting of gram sabhas.
The DDC enjoined upon officers to allocate resources where they can yield the greatest benefits for the public.
He underscored the importance of convergence mode for integrating various sectors and stakeholders towards a unified approach to development.
Among others, the meeting was attended by ADDC Mohammad Ashraf Bhatt; SE R&B, CPO, Executive Engineers, CMO, CEO and other concerned.
