This event, organized with the aim of promoting good health for mankind and nature, has drawn enthusiastic participation from the local community, schools, and students of Vishwa Yog Sansthan.
On June 19th, Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta inaugurated the event as the chief guest. Yog Guru Karan Ji, along with members of the ashram including ex-corporator Sh. Sham Lal Bassan Ji and Sh. Subhash Ji, extended a warm welcome to the Deputy CM. The inauguration ceremony included the traditional lamp lighting, marking the commencement of the three-day celebrations.
During the inaugural session, Sh. Sham Lal Bassan Ji addressed the youth, emphasizing the adverse effects of drug abuse and advocating for a natural and healthy lifestyle.
The event’s focus on sustainable living was reinforced by the ashram’s commitment to promoting an organic lifestyle for longevity and their active participation in the Clean and Green Jammu movement.
Each morning, participants engage in a 45-minute yoga protocol issued by the Government of India, demonstrated by Yog Guru Karan Ji. The sessions aim to promote physical and mental well-being, aligning with the institute’s motto of sustainable living through yoga and nature.
The culmination of the celebrations will be a mega yoga event on June 21st, to which Vishwa Yog Sansthan invites all residents of Jammu. This grand finale is expected to attract a large number of participants, highlighting the institute’s dedication to fostering a healthier community.
