Jammu, Mar 15- After the success of previous heart check up camps organized in Jammu, the P Mark Mustard Oil concern is organizing its third camp at Public High School Mishriwalla in Jammu where free of cost counseling and medicines will be given to the patients.
The renowned Cardiologists Dr. Saleem Ahmed and Dr. R K Malhotra of Sub District Hospital Akhnoor will be providing free service to the visitors during the entire program. The cardiac problems, high blood pressure and other health hazards are serious concern among the people today and the inhabitants of Jammu are no exception. This free health check up camp will give them an opportunity to keep a tab on their health related issues.
According to the current statistics around 10 crore people in India are estimated to be affected by heart diseases by 2010. Keeping this in mind, the Puri Oils, which is the makers of P Mark, one of the leading mustard oil brands in Northern India, have decided to take initiative to spread the message of ‘eat healthy and live healthy’ and has been organizing free check up camps.
Vivek Puri Managing Director Puri Oil said ‘we have entered the third phase of our free heart health service only by realizing the success of the previous initiatives. The overwhelming response received marks how the people of India are gradually waking up to the concept of health is wealth’. He said a camp was held at Akhnoor where over 200 visitors were consulted free of cost by the renowned cardiologists.
