Vishwa Yog Sansthan Hosts Vibrant International Yoga Day Celebration at Bagh-e-Bahu

Jammu, June 21: The Vishwa Yog Sansthan marked International Yoga Day with a grand celebration at Bagh-e-Bahu, Hari Ki Pauri, Jammu. The event, aimed at promoting the benefits of yoga, was attended by a diverse group of participants including students, local residents, and esteemed guests.
Kavinder Gupta, the Chief Guest of the event, was welcomed with warmth and respect by Yog guru Karan ji, ex-Corporator Sham Bassan Ji, Subhash Ji, and other members of the ashram. In his address, Kavinder Gupta underscored the significance of yoga in maintaining physical and mental health, advocating for its incorporation into daily routines for overall well-being.
Yog Guru Karan Ji took a significant moment during the event to pledge to the people of Jammu, encouraging them to embrace yoga as a vital part of their lifestyle and to be a part of Vishwa Yog sansthan. Schools from the region actively participated in the event, with notable performances from Bhram Rishi Bawara School, Udhampur. Adding to the event’s prominence, Special Guest Chinmaya Jyoti Didi Ji delivered an inspiring speech on the holistic benefits of yoga. She highlighted how yoga can transform lives by fostering a balanced and harmonious lifestyle.
The event witnessed robust participation from the local community, reflecting a growing interest and appreciation for yoga. The event was graced by several important members, including Sh. Kavinder Gupta, Ex Deputy Chief Minister, Viney Gupta, President of Jammu Province BJP, and Bansi Lal Gupta, Ex Corporator. Rajan Gupta, President of Beopari Surksha Forum J&K, also attended, along with Sham Kalsi, Suresh Sharma, Sumit Goyal, Ravinder Singh, Rajesh Padha, Balkar Ji, Sunny Ji, Mukesh Ji and member of Mater shakti of vishav yog ashram.Their presence was instrumental in making the event successful. Under the guidance of Yog guru Karan ji and with support of Dogra sabha , salyara sabha , Directorate of education J&K, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana super speciality Hospital, Indian Oil corporation Jammu, Punjab National bank this event by Vishwa Yog Sansthan was potentially possible.
