| Mendhar deputation calls on Rana, highlight problems | | |

Jammu Mar 15- A deputation of inhabitants of Mendhar assembly constituency called on Javed Rana, senior National Conference leader and ex-MLA Mendhar here today and apprised him about the problems being faced by the inhabitants of the area due to non availability of ration and other basic essentialities.
The delegation said that there is starvation like situation in the area as the people of the area are not getting even the APL and the BPL ration, besides other basic essentialities.
Javed Rana, gave a patient hearing to the deputation and taking note of the issues raised by the inhabitants of the area, immediately took up the matter with the Director CAPD and impressed upon the concerned authorities to ensure adequate supply of ration to the area, so that the problems of the people of the area are minimized.
He assured the deputation that he will ensure that adequate quantities of ration both meant for APL and BPL are provided to the inhabitants of the areas regularly. Javed Rana also assured the delegation that he will take up the other issues raised by the deputation with the concerned quarters for their immediate redressal
