DDC Suresh Sharma holds public darbar, listens to grievances in remote hilly area

AKHNOOR, June 22: BJP senior leader and member of District Development Council, Pandit Suresh Sharma, held public darbar and listened to the problems of people in Panchayat Ghar, Majoor , Kaneri Chowki and Choura of Block Chowki Choura of Chhamb assembly constituency related to electricity, water etc. and asked the department officials to solve these problems soon.
Apart from this, Pandit Suresh Sharma also kick started the construction work of a new filtration plant and laying of new pipeline in Sandal of Panchayat Majur. An amount of Rs 2 crore 54 lakh is being spent on the new water project in Sandal, the work of which is going on at a fast pace.
While addressing the people in Panchayat Ghar, Suresh Sharma said that there was problem of water in the Panchayat and an amount of Rs 2 crore 80 lakh has been spent on the new project, the work is going to be completed soon and people will get its benefits. Apart from this, Pandit Suresh Sharma said that the long pending demand was for Ghar Sidhra -Kanaah road which has been approved under NABARD.
An amount of 4 crore 20 lakh rupees will be spent on this. Its work will be started soon. Along with this, Ghar Sanodi road has also been approved. Pandit Suresh Sharma said that the biggest water crisis was in Budh Charayi . The work of the new water project which has been started at a cost of 2 crore 18 lakh rupees is not yet complete but today people are getting water in sufficient quantity from this project. Suresh Sharma said that Rameen Makhyan Road has also been approved in Panchayat Kennedy. Suresh Sharma also met the people in Chowki Choura and heard their problems. Suresh Sharma said that since the Thorni-Jhoothal water project has started, the water crisis in Chowki Choura has ended to a great extent. Water is not reaching some places, the department officials have been asked to resolve it. Suresh Sharma said that the Modi government of the country has pledged to provide tap water to every house under the Jal Jeevan Mission, in which today we have been successful to a great extent. New pipeline water projects, filtration plants are being set up in Hargaon locality, which will benefit people in the coming time. Apart from this, tar will be laid on many link roads in the coming days in the Chowki Choura area. People welcomed Suresh Sharma enthusiastically in all the panchayats and said that the speed with which you are fulfilling our demands by giving attention is very commendable. Suresh Sharma said that he is always there for them and that his only aim is to serve the people, for which he is working day and night. On this occasion AEE Water Power Department Rakesh Gupta, AEE PWD Department Angrez Singh, BJP Mandal President Captain BD Sharma, former Sarpanch Chunnilal, former Sarpanch Chaman Lal, former Sarpanch Ramesh Lal, Parshottam Lal, Satpal, Baba Kali, Kamal Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Captain Jagdish Lal, Sanjay Kumar, Suraj Prakash, Engineers of Electricity Department, officers of Rural Development Department and other dignitaries were present.
