DIG JKS Range flags off Bharat Darshan Tour at Glushan Ground

JAMMU, June 22: Dy. Inspector General of Police, JKS Range, Dr. Sunil Gupta, IPS flagged off Bharat Darshan Tour of 66 students from different parts of district Ramban at an impressive function from GO's Mess Gulshan Ground Jammu this morning.
The tour has been organized by Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu under Civic Action Programme (CAP). 66 students (participants) alongwith 02 caretakers of District Ramban will proceed from Jammu to Delhi, Delhi to Chennai (By Air) for Bharat Darshan Tour Programme w.e.f. 22.06.2024 to 26.06.2024.
While interacting with the students who belong to different parts of the Ramban district , the DIG Jammu wished them a happy and safe journey and advised them to avail the opportunity to enrich their knowledge by visiting historical places of Delhi and Chennai and also the modern marvels of India. He advised the students to move out, meet people and see how beautiful, diverse in fauna and flora and in culture our country is. He said that by these Bharat Darshan tours students can develop better understanding of the world at large and thus become a responsible citizen. He further advised the students to meet people during this tour with an open heart and spread love and understanding.
The students will visit among other places Lal Qila, Qutub Minar, Lotus temple, Delhi Zoo, Delhi Museum, Parliament, Delhi Metro at Delhi and Taj Mahal at Agra and many historical places at Chennai also .Boarding and Lodging, air travel facilities will be provided to the visiting students by Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu.
The function was attended by S.O to ADGP Jammu Zone , SP Hqrs. Jammu and other Police officers of district Jammu.
