JAMMU, June 24: Government Polytechnic College Jammu Organized Technical Visit for the students of Instrumentation of Control Engineering accompanied by Er. Ajay Thapa, Lecturer-I Mechanical, Er. Ajaz Rashid, Demonstrator Mechanical, and Ashok Verma, AA (I&C), visited Q. E Electronic Pvt. Ltd. in Bari Brahmna, Jammu & Kashmir, under the esteemed guidance of Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal of Government Polytechnic Jammu.
The visit included a comprehensive briefing on the manufacturing processes of Indoor and Outdoor Lights, Industrial Lights, and various solar lighting setups. The students benefited greatly from the technical staff's detailed explanations regarding the operational methodologies. During the visit, they were introduced to key personnel including Nitin Kashyap, the Plant Head, Upkar Khajuria, the Projects Head, and the Sales and HR Head. Additionally, the students had the opportunity to engage with Mrs. Renuka Sharma, a senior executive of the company, where they discussed various aspects related to the company's operations and technological advancements. The visit was further enriched by the mentorship of KP Sharma, who provided valuable insights into the plant's workings.
This visit, attended by students specializing in Mechanical, Instrumentation & Control (I&C), and Electrical engineering disciplines, was meticulously organized to enrich their practical knowledge and understanding. Er. Arun Bangotra's guidance ensured a valuable learning experience.
Moreover, the institution expresses readiness for potential campus recruitments and anticipates collaboration opportunities with the company in future product design and R&D endeavors, highlighting a commitment to fostering industry-academic partnerships.
