Explanation sought from lecturers for below 50% marks in class 12th exams

Jammu, June 24: The School Education Department has taken serious note of poor results in the class 12th examinations and sought explanations from the lecturers of various subjects for their poor results.
All Chief Education Officers (CEOs) of Jammu and Kashmir have been directed to seek explanations from the erring lecturers who failed to deliver desirable results.
According to an order issued by the CEO of Jammu, “the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education has declared the results of Class 12th and 10th recently. With a view to assess the performance of various lecturers, the concerned lecturers where the results of their subjects for Class 12th for the session 2023-24 have remained below 50 percent are hereby directed to explain their position within two days for onward submission for the higher authorities”.

The CEO Jammu has sought explanations from heads of 53 government schools for poor performance.

Earlier the CEO sought explanations from the Head of Institutions of 53 schools for poor performance in class 10th and 12th results.
“ The School Education Department has sought a report from the concerned CEOs about the schools and teaching staff who have not given good output as per the expectation and requirements,” the order issued by the CEO reads
Acting on the School Education Department order, the Chief Education Officer, Jammu has sought explanations from heads of 53 government schools for poor performance in class 10th and 12th results for the session 2023-24”.
The Explanation notice issued by the CEO, Jammu read as, “ The JKBOSE has declared the results for the class 10th and 12th recently. With a view to assess the performance of various heads of institutions. The HOIs where the result of class 10th and 12th for the session 2023-24 has remained below 50 percent are hereby directed to explain their position within 3 days for onwards submission to the higher authorities”.
