| Militant hideout busted, arms recovered | | |

Srinagar: Security forces on Sunday claimed to have busted a militant hideout in Beri Rukh forest belt in Poonch district of Jammu division, police sources told .
A senior police official told that security forces after getting inputs about the presence of a militant hideout in Beri Rukh forest belt cordoned off the entire area and started combing operations.
Sources said that army troops of 7 Komaum Regiment laid their hands on the hideout falling in Mendhar tehsil and recovered one pistol, one magazine, 31 rounds, 11 rounds of 303 rifle, 4 grenades, one bag, clothes, dry fruits and other eatables.
Meanwhile, police has been informed about the cache of arms and an FIR has been registered, however, no one was arrested during the cordon.
