Kashmir Division Club Taekwondo Championships 2024 successfully concluded

SRINAGAR, June 26: The J&K Taekwondo Association, under the aegis of the Taekwondo Federation of India and the J&K Sports Council, proudly announces the successful conclusion of the Kashmir Division Club Taekwondo Championships 2024.
The event was held from June 24-25, 2024, at the Indoor Hall, Polo Ground, Srinagar.
Opening Ceremony: The championship kicked off with a grand opening ceremony graced by the presence of:Chief Guest: Maqsood-ul-Zaman, IPS (SSP Traffic, Srinagar)Guest of Honour: Rouf Ahmed Bhat (Under Secretary to Govt & Sports Promoter)
Closing Ceremony: The event culminated in a vibrant closing ceremony attended by:
Chief Guest: Javaid Ahmad, JKAS (Sports Officer Central, JKSC)Guest of Honour: Maqsood Khan (Deputy Manager, Polo Ground, JKSC)
Special Guests:Mohd Iqbal (PA to Secretary, JKSC)Goutam Shukla, Tariq Lone, Faizan Waheed (International Soccer Player)Khan Raja (Renowned YouTuber)Dr. Yawar/(Physio)
The championships witnessed the participation of around 250 taekwondo athletes from various districts and clubs of the Kashmir division. The J&K Taekwondo Association is committed to fostering an Olympic-level sports environment in the Union Territory of J&K.
