Jammu, Mar16- Indian Solidarity Council New Delhi awarded Rahul Kapoor, Administrator Adarsh College of Education, Tarore, Jammu with ‘Jewel Of India Award’ on the occasion of National Seminar on ‘ Education and Industrial Development’ held in the Union capital two days back..
Kapoor was conferred with this prestigious award jointly by Dr. Bisham Narayan Singh, former Governor Tamil Naidu and Dr. GVG. Krishnamurthy, former Chief Election Commissioner of India. Justice OP Sharma, former Governor of Punjab was also present on the occasion.
Rahul Kapoor was given this award for his outstanding achievements in the field of education. He was also presented Certificate of Merit on the occasion. Kapoor had also represented the state in a Seminar on National Testing Scheme organized by Centre for Indian Languages, Government. of India in collaboration with Ministry of HRD at Mysore.
Speaking on the occasion, Kapoor highlighted the basic aspects of education and its periphery.
In this Seminar delegates from across the nation participated and the son of the soil brought laurels to the state as well as the nation at large by receiving this prestigious award.
