| Crackdown on illegal mining, 8 vehicles detained by JKP in South zone of district Jammu | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 30: In a drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators, Jammu Police has initiated strict action against the criminals involved in illegal mining & minting money out of the public resources.
In an operation carried out at different locations in Police Station Satwari Jammu,
PP Chatha detained 05 vehicles involved in illegal mining:-
Tractor Trolly bearing Chassis No. MBNAK49ADMIM52868 loaded with RBM
Dumper bearing registration JK02CL-2446 loaded with Sand
Tipper bearing registration No JK21F-7977 loaded with Sand
Dumper bearing registration No. JK02 DJ-8407 loaded with stone
Dumper bearing registration No. JK21F-0330 loaded with Stone
PP Phallain Mandal detained 03 vehicles involved in illegal mining:-
Dumper bearing registration No. JK14C-4865 loaded with Sand
Tractor alongwith trolley bearing chassis No. MBNALALBEJRH0107 loaded with Sand.
Tractor alongwith trolley bearing chassis No. MBNALALBEJRH01078 found loaded with Sand
That is, a total of 08 vehicles involved in illegal mining have been seized on 29.06.2024 at different locations of Police Station Satwari. After detaining of these vehicles District Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal actions. Jammu Police is committed for protecting the public property and to eradicate the menace illegal mining in the area. |
