Awareness camp on health, nutrition by Aakriti Dhawan

JAMMU, June 30: Aakriti Dhawan took a session on Health & Nutrition at an impactful awareness camp organized by Meera Women and Child Welfare Society working for the welfare of women and children under the guidance of Dr Sandhya Dhar, President of the organization at Bhour Camp (Jammu). The event aimed to educate and empower attendees with essential knowledge on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
During the interaction Miss Aakriti Dhawan an intern focused on health and nutrition care for young children and women. A highlight of the camp was an informative talk delivered by her with a keen interest in public health. Dhawan's engaging discussion covered vital topics such as balanced diets, the importance of regular exercise, and preventive healthcare measures. Miss Dhawan also took an impressive session on Art & Craft with children of the locality. She prepared decorative items using art & craft materials, showed them and taught the eco-friendly benefits of the same to the children who participated in the event include Aditi Sharma, Sunakshi, Aradhya Mussa, Aradhana Mussa, Rajat Kumar, Akshubya Sharma, Atharv and Aatika Sharma.
Participants found the session highly beneficial, as it provided practical tips and encouraged proactive health management. The initiative underscores commitment towards community well-being and continuous efforts to promote health education.
Prominent among other who participated in the awareness camp were Dr Neha Sharma-Assistant Professor, Kamlesh Sharma, Lovely Sharma, Mohinder Rani, Veena Sharma, Chetna Sharma, Surbhi Sharma, Gurvinder Kour, Harleen Kour, Janki Devi, Sunita Devi, Seema Devi, Lalita Sharma, Sushma Sharma, Samiksha Sharma, Sadhvi Sharma, Kunti Parashar, Jyoti Sharma and Ved Kumari. Pt Chaman Lal Sharma managed the event. Radhika Bhushan presented vote of thanks, distributed hygienic sanitary items and eatables to the participants
