| Bhim welcomes return of peace in Pak | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 16- Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman of JKNPP accompanied by Provincial President Faqir Nath and other district office bearers launched ‘Meet the Voters campaign’ today from Ramnagar, his native Tehsil. The Panthers Party Chairman with team interacted with several hundred voters in Ramnagar, Chowki, Nala Mallian, Ghordi, Barmeen, Bindla, Blatar, Kaldi and other places. The voters informed the Panthers Chief that neither drinking water nor the electricity was available to the villagers in Nala Mallian, Chowki, Barmeen etc. although, they have been charged for taking power connection. The High Schools and the Middle Schools in the entire area have no requisite teaching staff and the schools are run on ad-hoc basis by a single teacher. Ramnagar being its Tehsil Headquarter has hospital but is without any doctor. Meanwhile, Prof. Singh in a statement has welcomed return of peace in Pakistan and admired Nawaz Sharief for his courage and commitment to the return of rule of law in Pakistan. He reminded the gun-wielding youth in Jammu and Kashmir that he who rises with gun is destined to perish with guns and Taliban is living example in Afghanistan. He asked the angry youth to give up guns and join the battle of ballot for justice. He wondered that India can land at the moon but there is not a drop of water to drink in the Kandi areas. Unless, benefit of democracy is extended to the people in the villages there shall be no peace, he added.
