Zomato is an Indian multinational restaurant aggregator and food delivery company. It was founded by Deepinder Goyal and Pankaj Chaddah in 2008.Zomato provides information, menus and user-reviews of restaurants as well as food delivery options from partner restaurants in more than 1,000 Indian cities and towns, as of 2022-23.
Flipkart Private Limited is an Indian e-commerce company, headquartered in Bangalore, and incorporated in Singapore as a private limited company. The company initially focused on online book sales before expanding into other product categories such as consumer electronics, fashion, home essentials, groceries, and lifestyle products.
A total of around 39 students were shortlisted for the first round. At the end of the grueling selection process Seven students from YCET were selected in LIVEWIRE Zomato and Flipkart Private Limited .These students will join with the final annual package of Rs 2- 3Lakhs (approx.).
Students namely Miss Parmeet Kour got selected in Livewire India Pvt. Ltd, Ashish Bhat got selected in Zomato. Aditi Singh Charak, Nitika Bolowria, Adnan Katoch, Tawkeer Ahmad, Afee Ahmad Mir got selected in Flipkart.
Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology is leading the effort to give the students a chance to have a firsthand experience of placement drives. Our career counseling programs which are also a part of our College's Social Responsibility lay special emphasis on empowering these students by imparting industry-ready skills, which enables them to get good placements. The students at YCET put in a lot of preparation towards the placement drive. The college also arranged many lectures for students on resume making, personality enhancement, and on various latest topics.
The officials from the companies and Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology were involved to properly drive the placement process. Dev Chinmey- Vice President, Puneet Kumar- Senior Manager, and Anjali Chopra: M.D. hailed the efforts put by the college in nurturing and exploring the young minds for a better tomorrow.
