Weekly Block Diwas public outreach camps held across Ramban

RAMBAN, July 3: The District Administration Ramban, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, organized the Block Diwas outreach camps at various locations across the district today. The programs aimed to provide a platform to the public to raise their grievances and demands, and to ensure on-the-spot redressal of their issues.
The programs were held at Block Rajgarh, Block Ramban, Block Batote, Block Gool-Sangaldan, and in Block Ukhral-Banihal.
At Rajgarh the Block Diwas was presided over by ADDC, Roshan Lal along with ACD Srinath Suman and other officers, while at Ramban headquarter the program was headed by ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak, while at other locations the public interaction/ grievances redressal camps were chaired by SDMs, Tehsildars and BDOs.
The programs were attended by public representatives, PRIs, and a large number of people from the respective areas.
Issues related to water supply, road macadamization, upgradation of schools, better health services, and other related issues were raised by the public. Concerned officers assured quick action on the issues raised.
"The Block Diwas program is an easy and accessible platform for the public to raise their grievances and demands. We are committed to ensuring on-the-spot redressal of their issues," said Roshan Lal, Additional District Development Commissioner, Ramban.
