Early Times Report

Jammu, July 3: In a heartfelt gesture of support and community service, the Rotary Club Jammu Stars marked Annapurna Day by adopting three Below Poverty Line (BPL) families from Kirpalpur Colony. These families were identified by the Club Project Director, Sangeeta Puri, with the assistance of the local Sarpanch.
Today, the club members visited these families and provided them with essential dry rations. Club President Meena Jaggi, along with her dedicated team including Immediate Past President (IPP) Pooja Malhotra, Rotarians H.S. Dua, Gurjeet, Reeta Malhotra, and Dr. Sakshi, assured the families of ongoing support to meet their basic needs. The presence of the local women from the same colony added to the community spirit of the occasion.
Social activist and member of the Kisan Board, Kanta Devi ji, also attended the event, highlighting the collective effort towards social welfare and upliftment of the underprivileged sections of society.
This initiative underscores the Rotary Club Jammu Stars' commitment to community service and their resolve to ensure that no family is left behind in their pursuit of a better and more dignified life.
