| 83 Cross LoC via Chaka da Bagh | | | Early Times Report Poonch, March 16: At least eighty three persons crossed Line of Control (LoC) via Chaka-da-Bagh in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir, here today. Official sources said that at least 83 persons crossed over the LoC from the either side. At least 25 persons crossed over to Pakistan side from Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir. These included 23 persons, who were returning back home after visiting the state on a permit and fresh Indian visitors who went to meet their relatives in other side of the border. During the last two weeks, the number of fresh Indians were reduced to zero due to not issuance of permits by PoK authorities, however today 2 freshers from Indian side crossed over to other side to meet their relatives. Similarly, sources added, 58 persons crossed over to this side from Pakistan. Those who crossed to this side include 41 visitors and 17 residents of the state, who had gone to meet their relatives on the other side of the border. It was reliably learnt that the senior officers from district and civil administration were also present on the spot today. The border opens at 11.15 AM and closedat3.30 PM.
