Student dies of food poisoning

Jammu, Mar 16: One Polytechnic College student died of food poisoning and the condition of others two were stated to be critical when they fell ill after taking dinner last night at their residence here today. Three engineering students who were living in a rented house near the college premises suddenly complaint of severe pain in their stomach during dawn. They were rushed to GMC hospital where doctors declared one as brought dead while condition of others two were stated to be critical.Where as police has been seeing the incident in different angles. When SP Rural Mohan Lal contacted he said that the sample of blood, food and vomiting of the students were sent to FSL and the ground reality could be ascertained only after the report of FSL.
The three students of Polytechnic College,Purkhoo identified as Nitin Kumar son of Suram Chand,2nd semester civil engineer student,Anil Dogra son of Bodh Raj Dogra,4th semester civil engineer student and Pawan Kumar son of Tilak Raj,4th semester computer engineer student,all residents of Reasi who were living on rented accommodation near college premises have had their evening meal and started vomiting.Their condition went to ugly at about 4AM as severe pain started in their stomach.They were rushed to GMC hospital where doctors declared Nitin Kumar as brought dead and the treatment of others two were on.
In their police statement both the students in GMC hospital told that “they had kachaloo kari in their evening meal which causing pain in their stomach and they feel relief after vomiting but their condition started deteriorating during dawn.”
‘’One of the students of Polytechnic College, Purkhoo identified as Nitin Kumar son of Suram Chand resident of Reasi, died due to dehydration and two others Anil Dogra and Pawan Kumar were admitted in GMC hospital as they fell ill after consuming meals last night at their rented accommodation,’’ Mohan Lal, SP Rural told. He also said that, “police has registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter.”
