Two-Day Training Session on Court Disposal Form within CCTNS at ZPHQ Jammu

Jammu, July 8: A comprehensive two-day training session was conducted at Zonal Police Headquarters (ZPHQ) Jammu from 8th July 2024. The session focused on the proper filling of the Court Disposal Form, an essential part of the Integrated Investigation Form (IIF-VI), which is used for recording details related to Case Number Record (CNR), court trials, and case disposals in the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) Core Application Software (CAS).
The training aimed to equip the Police officers and officials with the necessary skills and knowledge to accurately enter and manage data in the CCTNS CAS after the submission of a challan of an FIR in the Hon’ble court.
The details pertaining to CNR, accused trial information, and case disposal specifics are crucial for maintaining an efficient and transparent legal process.
The digital records in CCTNS ensure that the information is readily accessible; thereby significantly reducing the time spent searching through manual records.
The workshop was attended by 11 officers and officials from various Range CCTNS Technical Teams.

The training emphasized the importance of accurate data entry in the CCTNS CAS to ensure seamless tracking and management of court cases. Participants were trained on the intricacies of filling out the Court Disposal Form, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
The session included practical exercises and hands-on training to enhance the participants’ understanding and proficiency in using the CCTNS CAS.
The digitalization of records pertaining to case disposals through CCTNS will streamline the judicial process by providing immediate access to case information. This eliminates the need for time-consuming manual searches, thereby enhancing efficiency and transparency in the police and judicial systems.
The successful completion of this training session marks a significant step towards modernizing the police department’s record-keeping and data management practices. It reflects the commitment of the Jammu and Kashmir Police to leverage technology for improved service delivery and accountability.
