RAMBAN, July 9: IIC of Government Degree College, Ramban, in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) today to educate students about the JK Government's Start-up Schemes 2024. The EAP aimed to create awareness among students about the various opportunities and benefits provided by the government to support entrepreneurship and innovation. Mohammad Numan, District Nodal Officer, JKEDI Ramban, and Sajad A Lone, Assistant Faculty, JKEDI Ramban, were the resource persons who enlightened the students about various startup schemes launched by the government, incubation centers, and different types of funding available to them for starting their businesses. The programme was organized under the overall supervision of Prof. Archana Kaul, Principal of the college, who appreciated the initiative and committed to organizing many more such events in the future.
The Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme aimed to inspire and empower students to consider entrepreneurship as a career option and to provide them with the necessary knowledge and resources to succeed. The workshop was attended by esteemed faculty members of the college, including Prof. Satish Kumar, Prof. Raj kumar Gupta, Prof. Sanjay kumar Cartel, Dr. Romesh Chander, Prof. Rabinder Kumar, Prof. Ram Parkash, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad Mir, Prof. Arjun Gupta, and Dr. Anuj Gupta. The whole event was coordinated by Prof. Arjun Gupta, Commerce.
