Party urges Bhim to contest LS polls from Delhi

New Delhi Mar 17- The Executive Committee of Delhi Pradesh National Panthers Party met here today under the chairmanship of its President Sanjoy Sachdev.
During the meeting Harsh Malhotra, Secretary General of the party moved a resolution which was adopted unanimously appealing the party Chairman, Prof. Bhim Singh to contest the ensuing Lok Sabha election from any constituency of Delhi. The resolution said adopted at the meeting said "The need of the hour is to promote and strengthen the integration of Jammu and Kashmir with rest of India which is possible only by amending Article 370 of the Constitution so that the Parliament can enact on the subjects mentioned in document of Accession of J&K to India, which can only be done by a person who enjoys acceptability and emotional support of the people of J&K and rest of the country and there is none other than Prof. Bhim Singh, the Chairman of National Panthers Party. He is only political personality who has courage, capability, vision and mission to integrate Jammu and Kashmir to end all violence, terrorism and militancy with the cooperation of the people. His mission to implement Delhi declaration is only possible through the cooperation of the members of the Parliament on the floor of Lok Sabha. This was the determination of Maharaja Hari Singh to make integration a reality”, the resolution added.
The resolution also said that ‘Delhi Pradesh National Panthers Party feels proud to put up a candidate like Prof. Bhim Singh from Delhi. It shall be a matter of grace and honour for the voters of Delhi to have a representative in the Parliament of the stature of Prof. Bhim Singh. We would raise resources from the masses for his election campaign and would match anybody and everybody and will leave no stone unturned to ensure his victory and entry into the Indian Parliament to save Kashmir Save India and to save peace in the country", the resolution added.
The State Committee has also recommended a panel of candidates from all the seven constituencies to the Central Parliamentary Board for a final decision and the State party is prepared to contest all the seven seats so as to give an alternative to the people of Delhi, a party handout said.
