Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 9: Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit has strongly condemned the cowardly attack on Indian soldiers by terrorists in Kathua of Jammu division on Monday, in which 5 soldiers including Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) were martyred , demanded to teach a tough lesson to Pakistan. Along with this, taking a strong dig at the central government of BJP, all the claims of establishing peace in Jammu and Kashmir have been termed hollow.
In a press conference held today at the party's state central office, state chief Manish Sahni said that till when will we tolerate the martyrdom of our soldiers. The time has come to teach a lesson to Pakistan by taking strong retaliatory action against its nefarious activities.
Sahni termed all the claims of the central government regarding peace restoration proven hollow. Sahni said that the terrorist organizations active in Jammu and Kashmir have established their foothold in Jammu division along with Kashmir. The army and innocent people are being targeted by hiding in the dense forests and hilly areas here. Sahni said that in the last one month, 6 terrorist attacks have taken place in Jammu division, while this is the second major terrorist attack in Kathua district in a month.
In these attacks, 10 civilians have died and 5 soldiers have made the supreme sacrifice. Earlier, on June 9, terrorists had ambushed a bus carrying pilgrims from Shiv Khodi temple in Reasi district. After the firing by the terrorists, the bus fell into the ditch. In this, 9 people lost their lives, while 41 people were injured.
Sahni warned the terrorist organizations and the local people helping them to refrain from nefarious and cowardly acts. Along with this, a demand has been raised for the intelligence agencies to be extra vigilant and to conduct thorough investigation of the forest and hilly areas.
