| Jammu businessman meets President of India | | |

Jammu, Mar 17- National Conference leader and leading businessman of Jammu and Kashmir Parveen Anand along with 50 eminent and distinguish personalities from different walks of life were administered an oath by the president of India Pratiba Devsingh Patel, at the Rashtrapati Bhawan to fight female feticide.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, President of India Pratiba Devsingh Patel launched an ambitious and massive civil society awareness campaign against the ever haunting issue of female feticide.
The President took keen interest in this civil society initiative and emphasized the need to change the behavior framework of the larger part of the society towards the girl child.
The personalities belonged to fields of medicine, media, and advertising, Aviation, Hotel Industry, and NGO’s, Railways etc. This campaign has already received endorsement from Film celebrities like Sharukh Khan, Vidya Balan and Mahesh Bhatt.
The Provincial President Rattan Lal Gupta has congratulated Parveen Anand on this occasion.
