DDC member inaugurated new motor pumps in Maira Mandrian, Balgara Panchayats

JAMMU, July 9: BJP leader and member of District Development Council Pandit Suresh Sharma inaugurated two new motor pumps at a cost of Rs 55 lakh in Maira Mandrian and Balgara Panchayats of Chhamb assembly constituency. The motor pump installed at Maira Mandrain water project costs Rs 17 lakh and at Balgara-Payan water project costs Rs 37 lakh.
Addressing the people on the occasion, Pt. Suresh Sharma said that this was a very long pending demand of the local population and often when the old motor pumps got damaged, people had to wait for 20-25 days for water. Now with the installation of new motor pumps, people will not have to face the problem of water and will get sufficient water. Apart from this, Pt. Suresh Sharma said that in the coming days, an additional motor pump will be installed on each water project (stand by machinery) due to which people will not have to face the problem of water.
Pt. Suresh Sharma said that under the leadership of the country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Central Government's Jal Jeevan Mission project is proving to be very beneficial. Old pipes are being replaced, taps are being installed and new water projects are being made.
Due to this, in the coming days, a new tubewell will be built in Panchayat Maira Mandrian, one in village Targah and one in Payan. People will get full benefit of this and will get rid of the water problem. The people present there thanked Suresh Sharma for this work and said that he should keep fulfilling their demands in this way.
