Successful orientation programme at Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School held

JAMMU, July 10: Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar, hosted a comprehensive Orientation Programme today, bringing together participants from Pushp Vatika, Shiksha Niketan, Gandhi Nagar, and various wings of Shiksha Niketan -Jeevan Nagar, including the Primary, Middle, High, And Higher Secondary Wings.
The Orientation Programme was divided into two segments, each focusing on distinct yet equally important topics. The first part centered on the development of phonetics and communication skills, while the second addressed team building and cohesion.
The event commenced with the traditional lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana, attended by all dignitaries, guests, and in-charges. Welcome bouquets were presented to all guests by the in-charges of the respective wings. The entire programme was adeptly anchored by Nikita Ma'am from the higher secondary department.
Harish Raina, ( Regional Manager of Prachi Publication Pvt. Ltd).- A Resource Person from Prachi Publications, spearheaded the first segment on the development of phonetics and communication skills. His insightful session covered various aspects, including the pedagogy of linguistics and the study of speech sounds. The interactive session engaged participants from different wings, concluding with a thought-provoking speech by Mr. Risheek Mengi, Director of Pushp Vatika .
The Second Part of the Orientation Programme began with another lamp lighting ceremony led by the esteemed Principal, Mr. Rameshwar Mengi, and other dignitaries. Following the ceremony, badges were presented to the principal and guests, who were also given tokens of appreciation. The principal's critique speech highlighted the unique and commendable efforts of RMPS in organizing the orientation.
Avinash Mahajan (Vice Principal Army Public School Nagrota) also from Prachi Publications initiated the Second Segment on team building and cohesion. He engaged participants with group activities that emphasized the importance of teamwork. The session included a dynamic question-and-answer segment, with queries from Inderpreet Ma'am and Sachin Sir of the Higher Secondary Wing. Discussions centered on fostering team spirit and achieving a positive, results-oriented approach .
The Resource Person facilitated various activities to illustrate the critical role of team leaders. The Interactive Session sparked a lively debate among participants, including contributions from Mandeep Ma'am and Inderpreet Ma'am of the higher secondary wing .
The workshop concluded with numerous innovative ideas on enhancing teamwork. The programme wrapped up with a concluding speech by the worthy principal, who commended the Higher Secondary Wing Lecturers for their successful management of the event.
