JAMMU, July 10: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) is proud to announce that Bibhor Kumar Singh, a graduate from the 2008 Electronics & Communication batch, has been awarded the Shaurya Chakra. During a critical combat operation, Singh lost his foot but continued to provide covering fire, allowing his troop to advance and stay safe. His courage and dedication in such a challenging situation are truly remarkable. Singh's recognition with the Shaurya Chakra reflects the strong values and resilience that SMVDU instills in its students.
