KISHTWAR, MARCH 17 -.In order to ensure better facilities to the inmates of the Balashram and the NGO run Ashyana, at Kishtwar, the District Development Commissioner, Mr. G.R Bhagat along with a team of officers visited these institutions and reviewed their functioning.
While taking stock of the basic amenities, dietaries items water and power supply position, the DDC directed the Executive Engineer, PWD and Executive Engineer, PHE Kishtwar to arrange power and water supply in the Ashram.
DDC also interacted with the inmates and advised them to make best use of the facilities at the Ashram and pursue their education for shaping their future in right directions.
Later, the DDC also visited the NGO run Ashyana complex and took stock of various activities taken up under Operation Sadbavana funded by the 9-Sector Army based at Kishtwar.
Among others, XENs, PHE, PWD, Chief Planning Officer, District Social Welfare Officer were present on the occasion.
