LONAVALA, July 10: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today reaffirmed the commitment of Modi government in promoting and preserving the rich cultural heritage of religious sites across the country.
Speaking at the Shrimahalakshmi Shaktipeeth Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav held in Karla Lonavala, the senior BJP leader emphasized the government's initiatives under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
"Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government has taken numerous initiatives to restore and develop religious and cultural sites, ensuring that our heritage is preserved for future generations," he stated.
Notably, Kavinder Gupta along with his wife today participated in the grand Shrimahalakshmi Shaktipeeth Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav held at Karla Lonavala. The magnificent temple has been constructed within the Maharaja Agrasen Complex.
The former deputy Chief Minister highlighted the significance of such efforts in fostering a deeper connection with India's spiritual and cultural roots. He underscored the importance of events like the Shrimahalakshmi Shaktipeeth Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav in promoting communal harmony and spiritual growth.
"The establishment of the Shrimahalakshmi Shaktipeeth is not just a construction of a temple; it is a beacon of our rich cultural and spiritual traditions," he added.
The event, organized under the patronage of Rajendra and Gaurav Guhale, featured discourses by prominent spiritual leaders including Dwipithadhishwar Brahmlin Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj and Shankaracharya Swami Sadanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj.
During the ceremony, Kavinder Gupta also engaged in discussions on various Sanatani topics with the National President of the All India Spiritual Upliftment Council, Acharya Natwarlal Joshi, and Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Ramkrishnanand of Agni Akhada, among others.
Kavinder Gupta praised the efforts of the organizers and contributors in bringing the Shrimahalakshmi Shaktipeeth to fruition within the Maharaja Agrasen Complex. He noted that such endeavors not only enrich cultural landscapes but also strengthen societal bonds. The event concluded with a collective prayer for peace and prosperity, symbolizing unity in diversity and reverence for India's spiritual heritage.
Among those who were present include Murari Lal Sharma, Bhanu Parkash, Dimple, and Rounak Sharma.
